how's Dokdo as a vacation spot?
(asked with not as much sarcasm as you may think)
it may be the only place I can afford to take a vacation.
(btw.. airfares are usually globally USD based, which means you'll be taking it up the poopchute here as well)
I didn't worry much about any currency fluctations within 10%. That's to be expected and if 10% is that much to you, you shouldn't be here anyways.
but 25%... and higher.. may get to 40%, 50%?
well, that is QUITE different.
that only happens in banana republics... or Mugabe's Zimbabwe.
not in any developed or even semi developed country.
I am NOT happy.. (and am taking a winter vacation no effing matter what anyways).. and yes it has to be outside of Korea... in order to keep me sane!) |

Ulleongdo (spelling?) is not a bad place to visit. I went in March of 07 and it was deserted. Lots of hiking if you are into that and a great club where I and my friend were the only customers.
If you want to relax, it is a nice place, but skip the Dokdo museum. |
