You have a gun with one bullet. There are three people standing in front of you.

Person #1 says, "Soda."

Person #2 says, "Pop."

Person #3 says, "Coke."

Which one do you shoot and why?

Which one do I shoot? You, of course. Why? For asking a silly question.

Wink

Actually, I'd shoot the one who says Soda before I'd shoot either of the others.

I saw a Southern US comedian on the Improv that had a "bit" about his people calling any kind of soda, "Coke".

"I'll have a Coke."

"What flavor?"

"Orange."

I thought he was kiding until I saw this map. People in the Southern States really do call all soda "Coke"!

Funnily enough, I'd shoot anybody that used either 3 phrases. Americans get on peoples nerves sometimes, and it's not because of Bush and Co.

Back in the early nineties the self-help movement was viewed by many Irish folk as phony, sappy sentimentalism. Americans tourists were always "g whiz!!!!", "golly gosh, isn't that amazing!!!!" and everything they said needed at least 4 exclamation points, even if they were only pointing out the clouds. So, Americans = phony, eternally happy, sentimentalism through this 8 year olds eyes.

When our economy got a face lift Irish the self-help movement pretty much creamed itself all over Irish bookstores. Inner childs, universal consciousness, being gay, peace and other muck is all over the place now.

That's why I like the Koreans more sobering view on reality.Spicy cabbage good, Japan bad! Amen.
