*Introduction to Swing Dance*

This four-part 90-minute class series is for true beginners to swing dance. The class will introduce the basics of leading and following in social dance, the basic 6-count rhythm of East Coast Swing, and a variety of turns to get you ready for the dance floor! No experience and no partner necessary. (We will rotate partners throughout the class.) Classes are taught in English.

WHEN:
March 5th - March 27th
Session A: Saturdays 4:00pm-5:30pm
Session B: Sundays time t.b.a.

Because we will be starting from the ground up and building on what we've learned each week in every class, we strongly recommend that you attend all four classes, and ask that you please start in the first class (on March 5th or March 6th).

***Special price for 'leads' (Guys, this means *you*!)***In order to balance out the numbers of leads (traditionally men) and follows (traditionally women) in our class, we are offering a special discount for guys. 10,000won/class. (40,000won for the session)

(Should we have an uneven ratio of leads to followers, we will offer the opportunity for women to sign up as leads and extend them the discounted lesson price. If you are a woman who would like to learn how to lead, speak to Shailee about the possibility of enrolling as a lead.)

Why learn swing dance?
It's social, it's active, it's healthy, it's FUN! Did you know Seoul has arguably the largest swing dance scene in the world?! There are numerous clubs where you can go out dancing every night of the week. It's a great way to meet people or just share a dance with that special someone. ^.^

What to wear?
Your street clothes! Really. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in. *No shoes* in the studio though! So, socks are recommended (for turns and slides!).
