I'm not bragging, I'm just seriously bored. I'm currently working about 9am to 3pm M-F, but only actually working for 3.5 hours out of that. In short, I'm bored, bored bored. And on Thursdays, I am out by noon and only work one hour of the day.

This may all change next month, but probably not a lot.

I'm so bored, I'm thinking of taking on some extra work just to break the boredom. I need the money anyway, but I'm scared of getting busted for privates.

Does anyone have any bright ideas on other ways to keep busy and make some dough in Korea. I'm sure that if there were, everyone would be doing it and talking about it.

I'd love to do something with computers, since it's a hobby. Have even thought of buying/selling used computers to turn a small profit -- but the profit is way too small on those, usually.

I also like video, as you can see from my website.

Any ideas what you'd do if you were me?

Learn Korean, goto the gym, study something that interests you.

If you want to make money, check out ebay Smile I am sure there is something from Korea you could sell on there and make big bang.

A know a Korean gal who buys used designer shoes and stuff from the USA on Ebay, ships them here, and sells them to Koreans locally (Ferragamo, etc.). She usually turns a profit of between 20,000 to 80,000 won on a pair of shoes.

But there's a few import tricks to it.

I understand exactly where you are coming from.

I thought only working 3 or 4 hours a day would be fantastic... only now I'm bored as heck (Especially as I live in a farm town, very little to do here) I work from 6.30pm until 9.30pm Mon, Weds, Thurs and from 3pm until 5pm on Tues. I get Fridays off. Even worse, is that as of today I am on vacation for at least 2 weeks until they decide what to do with us in January, as they haven't set me up with any new students (Quite probably make me unemployed by the sounds of things Confused ) I'm planning on taking a tour of Korea next week.

I miss having people around during the day and the social aspect of work more than anything. Was definitely happier and more fulfilled working a 'proper' full time job. I far, far prefer being busy with work than stuck alone in my one bed room during the day.
