So I work in a public school and bring my laptop with me everyday. I can download anything that I would download at home except torrents...anyone know how I can? |

If i were you id avoid doing it.
Save your downloading of illegal stuff for at home.
You can only get into trouble by doing this.
Someone will eventually notice and only bad things will come of it. |

Unless you have access to the router to open a port it won't happen. |

What torrent client are you using? It will possibly work with utorrent with encryption enabled... |

I've had to download some files for work use before and had no problem using utorrent. Even though the port wasn't open (I just got the exclamation mark icon), I still managed to get decent speeds.
I must stress that I only used utorrent to download files I needed to use for class (in this case, music videos). |

I've lived at a few places over the years, and it always amazes me how noone ever changes the default password on their router.
Lets just say, I've always enjoyed firewalling those nasty torrent ports when I'm trying to play Warcraft 3. |
