I can't connect to the internet anymore and I think it might be related to me looking up porn. I want to ask my boss to sort it out, but I don't want the technical men telling her that I've been banned because of porn. The teacher I'm replacing gave me the home phone number for a techie that speaks English and wants to make friends but I can't call him at work...and I get home from my own work at 9 o'clock.
So, is there any way of telling WHY your internet doesn't work without doing time? |

Talk to your keeper (boss) man. If they disconnected you for looking at porn in Korea, it certainly wouldn't be "the most connected" country in the world now would it.
If the porn you are talking about is little Asian boys or something, you may have reason for concern though. |

home or school connection?
If it is your home connection then it would be probably be a network, modem, LAN card type problem. Who is your ISP? IF it is KTF or megapass, give them a call by dialing 100 from your phone. They have English service.
If you have internet (you can ping outside of the local/ISP network) and you do not access to your favorite website then they may have installed the net nanny service and you can ask them to remove it - no worry. You may also be caught in the passwork re-direct. Same fix - call your ISP to fix it.
If it is your work connection you may have been blocked/firewalled (but I doubt it cause I have seen Korean male teachers surfing the porn sites at work).

It's not work. I had a date and got blue balls by mistake. Thanks for that info, I'm in a PC bang now and I'll check it out when I get home. |

Thanks for your openness. I've never had seen someone give such details before. |

Just let the techie know the details, and they'll have you back on the road to pinker balls in no time. |

If looking at porn causes computer malfunction, then my hard drive would have exploded by now. Have you tried resetting the network adapter? |

I heard they search your HDD using sophisticated software and download it all to their USB drives, say "thanks very much" and then fix your modem. |
