Usually I'll just make:

Shin Ramen
Chopped Green Onion
Drop an egg in it after you put the noodles/sauce packet in. I don't put a lot of water in it because I like it salty. Also, I don't cook the noodles so that they stay hard/chewy.

If I want to get fancy with it, I'll do the above, but add sliced onions, and rice cake. Occasionally, I may drop some pizza cheese in it.


Chapagetti Ramen:

This is the black bean ramen. The best way to make this is to dice onions and saute them in a pan. You make the ramen as usual and just add the sauted onions in the final stage. Tastes just like Chinese delivery chajangmyun.


Beef Shin Ramen

When the water is boiling, drop about 100-200g of ground beef. Dont' add the noodles/sauce packet yet. After the water boils, scoop out the scum that floats at the top. Then you add the noodles and sauce packets. As a final touch, you can add Bean Sprouts while its cooking.

don't do the chapagetti, but for all else, in or out of cup, i go three frozen kimchi mandus, chopped green onions, chopped mushrooms. they just boil in well.

I boil water and pour it in with the soup mix. Sometimes I throw a slice of cheese in it. I don't eat it that often, though.

For the most delicious ramen ever:

Start to boil water in small copper pot (important that it is copper, boils faster)

Add seasoning from ramen, some frozen shrimp and three meat dumplings (throw in micro 30 sec before boiling)

After three minutes throw in ramen noodles, make sure you have broken the noodles 4 ways before opening the pack.

Cook for 3 min, turn off heat, throw in stirred raw egg, after stir in a little shredded cheddar cheese.

If you want to be healthy, add bok choi or any sort of lettuce at the very end.

Add seasame oil (Korean made, not Chinese), or hot sauce.

Before adding oil, you can strain everthing and either fry it all or just strain and add sauce.

Oh and eating it with sour stem kimichi is the best.

Enjoy.

I like the sesame oil addition, tasty. Very Happy Why do you break the noodles though? I like em long so you can twirl them around the chopstick like spaghetti.

For my hangover ramyeon tomorrow I'm gonna add some cheap sliced US beef. Razz

Come on, ramen means never having to cook. Just pour the hot water on the Shin ramen. Bibimmyeon is different...

It's not quite ramen, but it is nearly as easy, so here goes:

I use the fresh noodles that you get in the refrigerated section.. the kind with a coating of flour on them to keep them from sticking together.

Boil water and add the following for the broth:
- Chicken boullion
- a few myulchi (dried anchovies)
- some gochu karu (hot pepper powder)
- some ground up sesame seeds

Add:
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 1 cut up scallion
- some frozen ddeok (rice cake)
- some frozen, sliced veggies (if available)

Cook for a few minutes until the ddeok starts to soften. Add the noodles and the stems of baby bok choi (save the leaves).

After about two minutes, crack an egg into it and stir.

When the egg has firmed up, turn off the heat. Add the baby bok choi leaves and about a cup of spinach. Stir to heat the leaves through.

If I have them available, I might thaw a few jumbo shrimp and throw them in just after the egg. To avoid overcooking the shrimp I time it so that they aren't quite cooked by the time I turn off the heat on the stove, and then I let it all rest a minute or two while the shrimp, the leaves, and spinach heat through.

A few more sesame seeds and the green part of the scallion on top as garnish. Yum. I had this for a lazy dinner tonight. I love it because it's easy and it doesn't leave you with that "Ugh" feeling of ramen.

maybe add dumplings or an egg....but im not going to go to alot of trouble to make shitty unhealthy noodles into a decent meal. Id rather simply make a decent meal to start with and cut out the card board noodles.

That being said i still eat em when im in a rush.
