Hi,
I have my criminal record check. I was wondering whether I could get this apostilled at the British Embassy?? Or whether I need a family member to get a lawyer back home to do it.
The main reason I'm asking is because an American friend of mine was able to do his at the US embassy.
Thanks. |

Yes, you can. I had it done a few months ago. I took the National Police Computer one (they said that's the one they wanted, not the local one, which I also had) and apostilled it on the spot. Think it cost about 60,000 won but I'm not sure...can't really remember.
If you want no waiting, call up and make an appointment first. Sometimes, if someone is getting a new passport or something, you might have to wait a while.
Also, they only do money transactions in the morning. They're open after lunch but only for pick-ups and enquiries. |

| Disclosure Scotland is fine, I got mine through them about a month ago and had no problems. |

At the embassy we are currently attesting the UK police Statutory access and the disclosure document. I understand that the Korean Immigration normally accept one of them. The current attestation fee is 57000 KRW.
