Beat me to it. I logged on just now with the intention of posting this. I think everyone should print this story out and display it in your office. If your students are of a high enough level, why not teach it as a reading lesson, or perhaps a homework reading assignement with a quiz tomorrow.

Just showed this to my coworker, a college-educated, normally rational woman. Her first response was, "See, fans are bad for babies." Shocked

After I explained the statistics in the article, her tune changed to, "But we believe fans are dangerous, especially for very young babies." Confused

After I again showed her that this showed some solid evidence that fans are not only NOT dangerous, but may actually prevent SIDS, her response was, "They didn't perform the test on Korean babies. Our bodies are different." Rolling Eyes

It's like pushing evolution on a hardcore creationist. Us with our silly facts...ho ho...it all comes down to, "I ain't no monkey."
