Hey guys,

I need some help please!

How is the fee calculated. My agent told me it's like this:

(Deposit + (rent x100)) x 0.9%

Say for example, (10M + (1M x100)) x 0.9% = 990,000W

So, he basically said I pay the commission of the jeonsae amount. Then I argued that I'm doing wolsae so why should I pay the jeonsae amount. Then he said it's Korean law. I'm stuck here. Who's right? It's so confusing! (Please forgive my ignorance!)

Also, I checked out some sites and they said the commission is 0.5% and a maximum of 200,000W!

Also, he said as it is an officetel, his fee is excluding VAT..but I'm living there, I'm not a business so should I still have to pay the VAT? Sorry, it's a mess!

Thanks
