7 Abandoned Architectural Wonders of Modern Asia

I'd never heard about this tower hotel in Pyongyang.
A poster here had an interesting photograph series from the abandoned Okpo Amusement Park. Maybe someone can post the link to that thread.
I wonder if any English teachers were living in that Kowloon walled city ... they could have been good subsidized accommodation. |

Pretty sure those are racetraitor (the guy you're talking about)'s pictures actually. Try running a search with his name as the author to find that thread. |

haha I lived for years within eyesight of the top of that abandoned amusement park in Okpo. There are a lot of reasons to visit Geoje Island. I hadn't counted that among them. |

You do realize that you have pretty much told everyone RT's name?
I recognize his wife in the photos. |

Don't worry about my name getting out. I have nothing to hide.

The Okpo Land photos I took have gotten a lot of attention, and have been posted all over the Internet. I'm getting one shot published in a Dutch architectural magazine soon. These days you can find tons of photos online of Okpo Land, including a few vandalism pics that I really don't approve of.
I have since returned to the park once more in April with a big group of friends. You can see the newer pictures in here:

A while ago I put together a list of the "Seven Abandoned Wonders of Korea," but it's likely going to change soon because I've found a couple of impressive looking abandoned buildings outside Seoul city limits. |

It sounds like they've upped security there, sadly. That's one thing I like about Korea--there rarely is heavy security at these sites. The only exception I can think of is Dangook University. |
