|
|
I am getting conflicting advise from co workers and none seem to be working. I have a letter that needs to be faxed to Canada. The fax number on the website is 1-888 415 8579 now:
What country code is canada?
If it is 001 do I punch in: 001-1-888-415-8579 ?
I basically need someone to tell me munber by number how the hell I'm supposed to fax canada!!!
I missed my over seas ballot in the election because no one can tell me how to fax canada. (the number above is not for faxing about the election)
Anyone who can answer this surely simple question will be forever in my gratitude.[/b] |

Have you tried?
I faxed a form to the elections 613 number, and the man had to try a few times before it went through. I've noticed fax machine's don't spit out transmission records like they do back home.
My advice is to just keep trying, and yeah, that number seems right...although I think the faxing man just punched in 001-613..., not 001-1-613...
good luck!
Alternately, could you scan and send to an email address, that would be easier to track and you can probably do it at a PC bang. |

a) = 1
b) Yes!
I got this website from a google search (`international dialing codes`).
Input your nos. here:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/dialing.html
This is the answer I got if your number is in Toronto:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/dialingcodes.html?p1=235&p2=250&number=1-888+415+8579
...and, remember that Kinkos does faxes and has quite a few outlets in Seoul (but not all) that are open 24/7...tho` they tend to be expensive. |

you can send a fax by dialing any of the main trunk carriers out of Korea.
001-1-888-xxx-yyyy
002-1-888-xxx-yyyy
00365-1-888-
00700-1-888-
etc.
It is possible that if the 888 number is toll free they may not accept a call from outside their "calling area".
