|
|
Well, the title says it. Anyone shopping the 2 big box stores and getting it delivered? It seems these stores would offer that as most all the large chain stores in the West do offer online shopping and delivery.
I know Emart offers delivery as I had appliances delivered with co-teacher help though we traveled 2 hours each way to shop at an Emart store. I want access to Homeplus, but it's 3 hours each way by bus so online shopping is more practical. |

Yes, I found that site, but it doesn't have the things found in store such as Hikoko coffee beans in the sea green colored 200 gram bag that are just phenomenal nor do I understand how to use the site. I would had imagined Homeplus had a more complete site with some English in it like Gmarket as it's a half English company which carries many western products. Hardly nothing comes up when I use the search in the Homeplus site, but I can browse by category. Too bad it's not user friendly. I try to put stuff in the shopping cart, but can't do anything more than that such as check out or understand much of what it's saying. It's 0% English. |

Well, if they have delivery and you need something, why not have a Korean friend call them? If they can deliver what you want, then I think this is just a matter of not having a full inventory on site. They probably just list the most common products. |

Time to start learning Korean. It may not help right now with your current situation, but would later. In the meantime, get a K-friend or co-teacher to do it. They do have Hikoko there, just type 히코코. |

Learning Korean doesn't help with ordering online. You still need a Korean to order for you since Korean sites require a Korean National ID number to complete the order. |

OK, but the response was to the site being 0% English, not user friendly, and not being able to understand it. If a site is 0% English and that presents a problem, then yes, learning Korean would be the thing to do. After browsing and deciding what you want, then a Korean could place the order. |

I understand, but if you want to order stuff NOW, you can't wait 2-3 years to learn Korean before you order. |
