Does anyone have a Canon 450d? In the US it is the EOS XSi.
I am buying a DSLR within the next month. I am trying to decide between the Nikon d60 and the Canon. I have a friend that owns the d60 so I have had a chance to play around with it. But I don't know anyone with the Canon.
If anyone uses this camera, will you tell me what you like about it and what you don't like about it. Would you buy it again? etc.
Thanks |

I got the 450d last month. The Korean verion has English language settings. The books and manuals, although in Korean, are intuitive enough to understand. However, I would be getting more use out of an English manuals.
No complaints at all and I'm quite happy with it so far. Construction and weight, picture quality, ease of use, and included software for uploading and toying with pictures all get a thumbs up. |

Just got this camera about a month or so ago.
Its also called the Kiss X2 sold in Seoul. Its the Japanese verson, though everything is in English - menus buttons etc but its much cheaper. The warranty applies with the seller.
Its an awesome camera, takes great photos, good custom settings etc, really light.
You can download the user guides online too....got mine printed at school over a week. Its a wicked camera and i think beats the D60 as far as features etc goes. The D60 was designed more to compete with the 400D |

Thanks, I am trying to decide if the 450 is worth the extra 150 bucks or not.
Anyone else? |

It's a pretty good camera. It has a live view feature so you can shoot it like a Point and shoot digital sometimes. You can get the manual online. Uses a standard usb cord to connect. Good picture quality, large selection of lenses. I'd recommend it. |
