|
I was wondering if anyone knows if Gepik requires a deposit or connection fee to turn on the electric, water or gas in the apartment? I am not sure, but I think I heard the new tenant gets his/ her name on the monthly bill and the utility company takes a meter reading upon moving into the apartment.
Thanks |

You pay one deposit (900k over 3 months).
Your school takes care of the hookups. The utility bills will be mailed to the apartment they are associated with in but they will be in your school's name (to match the lease). |

| Do your homework pertaining to when you can and cannot get your housing deposit back. |

You do NOT get it back if you pull a runner.
GEPIK, you get your deposit back when you terminate your employment.
You do get it back if your contract completes naturally.
You do get it back if you quit with the contractually required notice.
They WILL withhold the amount of any outstanding bills (utility, internet, cable, etc) from the deposit when you leave.
