I'm having trouble getting the Korean IME installed onto my computer.
Under regional and language settings I have the "East Asian languages" box clicked but Korean, Japanese, etc. don't show up in the pull down menu for "text services and input languages."

Can somebody help me with that?

(Hi Rick! haha, I thought I'd throw this out into Dave's world of techies.)

I couldn't get it to work for the longest time either... But... This weekend I installed the Korean language pack for Microsoft Office 2007... And now I can type in Korean in every program... Not sure the cause... but it fixed it.

I kinda got it from... ahh... from a guy... and he... uhhh... I don't think it's safe here... But I think you know what I'm taking about.. *wink *wink (just for the record those weren't creepy Sarah Palin winks) Just search for Office language pack... The file is huge... and you might have to install it strangely, but it'll work.

I just did it a few days ago on a old laptop on which I istalled XP Pro SP3. It worked like a charm. Maybe the SP3 had something to do with it. Are you still on SP2?
