When I left Korea in 2003, I took with me a green bottle of soju and a bottle of baek-se ju. Well, I still have both, unopened, and want to bring only one of them back with me to Korea this month. Any thoughts on which one ages better? |

Why would you want to bring coal to Newcastle? |

Soju? Think 'half-life.' |

Most hard spirits do not age in the bottle, if anything they lose flavor and color...
Soju - probably exactly the same as the day it was bottled... If you want to do something with it... stick it in a wood cask for about 20 years... That might do something. Or use it as an all purpose polish.
Baek-se ju - has a lot of strange things in it... If it doesn't have mold growing inside the bottle, it probably tastes like it does. Dump it! |
