When I left Korea in 2003, I took with me a green bottle of soju and a bottle of baek-se ju. Well, I still have both, unopened, and want to bring only one of them back with me to Korea this month. Any thoughts on which one ages better?

Why would you want to bring coal to Newcastle?

Soju? Think 'half-life.'

Most hard spirits do not age in the bottle, if anything they lose flavor and color...

Soju - probably exactly the same as the day it was bottled... If you want to do something with it... stick it in a wood cask for about 20 years... That might do something. Or use it as an all purpose polish.

Baek-se ju - has a lot of strange things in it... If it doesn't have mold growing inside the bottle, it probably tastes like it does. Dump it!
