Does anyone know if you change schools (in different provinces), and have already submitted the CBC/ to the current province immi office, do you need to have the CBC done again to submit to the new province immi office with the new contract? My new school seems to think so...

If you have to work 9 months before relocating, then you would have passed the 6 month mark, making a new CBC necessary.

Although the immigration office originally said it would only be required once it now appears in practical terms that you will need a new CRC and medical every time you change your visa.

Seems ridiculous because the information on the record wouldn't change if you hadn't been home to commit any offenses.

And if you HAD, you'd probably be in jail or on probation and unable to come back to Korea!

Well, I called immigration today (the 1345 number) and they told me that I DO NOT need one when I change to another school. Hmmmm...gonna call again tomorrw and see if I get the same answer!! In the mean time, I'm going to start the CRC process again.
