I went for a tooth cleaning 3 days ago and was told I have a couple of cavities, even though they never took an x-ray. During lunch today I ate a piece of bread and one of my back molars cracked and a large chunk broke off. I haven't eaten anything recently that would have lead me to believe that I had a crack. Don't you think the dentist should have seen this while examining the teeth?

Anyways, from what I've read, I'll need to get a crown placed over the tooth. Can anyone recommend a dentist in Gangnam/Seocho or in Bundang? I'd like to get a specialist and not some general dentist.

There's a really good dentist in the Gumi-dong (Bundang) near Ori Station. I believe it's called 형치과 (Brother Dentist). If you need directions let me know. I don't know how good their English is but they were very professional about things.
I've been to different dentists in the Bundang area and really can't complain about any of them. I had the same problem as you had when I cracked my wisdom tooth. A local dentist had it fixed without any major issues.

The Chicago Dental Clinic in Hannam Dong is very good with lots of English speakers. No idea how competitive the pricing is, but the quality seems high. 02-795-1500 is tel I think. Used to be International Mee and Chicago, but they merged into one I believe.
