Today I saw things a teacher is not to observe in a student...

Today, as oft is the case, I was molested by my female students. Is it possible for me to get through a week without a male or female student touching my behind, reaching into my front pockets, or doing an assault hug on me from the front or behind?

The hugs (from the boys) that are proffered open arms are no problem- I know I know discontinue that post Chris -sick O. (Christ save that guy) - but I do turn the female hugs aside or make them into an arm on shoulder to shoulder embrace or shake arm clench. I am the Noble English Conquering Lord Of Korea- it is self evident that students have a continuous desire to touch me.

Today I walked into class and one girl suddenly tugged the sweat pants and under garment down from a poor embarrassed girl's waist shocking her and me with an end tail laid bare that was not meant to be told to me. Minutes later I was walking by desks and another girl adjusted the pen sticking out of my back pocket lightly making contact with my seemingly magnetic buttocks.

Pointing these things out to the teachers produces only chuckles and dismissal of the behavior as cute. But if this occurred when I was teaching in a public school in America (and no it never did aside from kindergarteners going for hugs) I would have to make a report to the principle just to cover my rear from getting slammed for negligence.

To be honest it is mildly humorous and flattering - but I actively discourage the skirt lifting a nd in this case pantsing of a student... but maybe this is counter productive and I should just ignore it as if it never occurs. Anyway, I just conclude they are all caught in a kindergarten mentality and this seems like good fun to them. But, it does support the argument you may be better off in the class with another Korean teacher- though actually these things have occurred then too...
