So I am a New Zealander and my contract is finishing soon as is my bf's (he is American). Our boss is paying for our tickets to travel to New Zealand. We will spend a month there and then we will go to America. We have purchased a one way ticket from NZ to America. Our boss is then going to pay for the one way ticket for us to come back to Korea.
I am worried about going through immigration in the states if I have only a one way ticket in my hand. If my boss organises the ticket from the US to Korea and I show officals this will it be ok? I have heard that one needs to show a ticket back to their country of origin??
Another thing we are going to be travelling together I am a New Zealander and he is an American. Is it best to split up when going through immigration thus not to raise any red flags? Any advice from people who have done this would be appreciated. I have read stories about bringing Kgf's back but not anyone not Korean.
Thanks in advance. I have tried to contact US immigration but it seems their email back load is huge.
Regards
Amanda |

| I wouldn't worry about the traveling together part. Really, it's not a problem. As far as the ticket goes, I would just tell them the truth, your bf can back up your story. Just explain that your school pays for the tickets and will be purchasing yours - you could write a letter on MSword and have your boss stamp it or something like that...it shouldn't be a problem. |
