I have a Nikon Coolpix S10 that takes decent still images, but takes average video with mono sound.

I want to upgrade to a camera that takes excellent video with stereo sound. I'm filming concerts, cultural events, and anything else of interest. I imagine it would good if you could plug in 2 tiny microphones to get the stereophonic high definition sound effect. I want high resolution video too.

What might you recommend? I want stereo sound recording with crisp high definition image as well as huge memory storage capacity and willing to spend up to 500,000 to 700,000 Won.

If you want solid audio youre gonig to have to get an external mic. No doubt about it they will produce the best results when comparing to built in mics.
that means whatever cam you buy will need a mic jack - not all have them.

If your looking at HD then you also need to think about what kind of media you want to record to.
DVD, HDV, HDD, SD - it all kinda matters and comes down to price, personal choice and size.

Theres a few you could look at in Korea.
The Canon HF10, Canon HG10, Samsung HMX10 or 20(more expensive), Panasonci SD9, Sony SR12.

You might have to spend a little more than your budget if you want something really good that doing HD.
I know the HMX10 is about 500,000 - has external mic, HD (only 720p not 1080) very small, light, SDHC cards, touch screen. I have one and so far am pretty happy with it.
