I just got here a few months ago. Now that the exchane rate is slightly better I think I'm going to send a volly home to pay student loans with before the rate heads back up. What is the best way to transfer money to my account in the US. Also what fees will I incure from the bank here in Korea and my bank in the US.

Going to your local Korean Bank would be the cheapest way. Just bring your bank book, ARC Card and Passport and US Bank Account Info.

KEB Charges 18,000 WON last time I used it.
Nonghyup charges 5000 WON, but I do this online so I dont know if its that cheap in person.

Good Luck and may the Kimchi be with you Cool
