Bush to cancel the election and proclaim himself Dictator For Life or whatever title he has in mind.

Prophecy:
The people claiming this was going to happen are already huddled under their blankets with a flashlight connecting the dots, preparing to proclaim Obama will cancel the Election of 2012 and install himself as Dictator For Life.

The only question is When.

Ha. But BLT and IGTG are apparently gone. The others here are lightweights in comparison.

I have grown tired of this election-year. Everytime I run in my gym, someone has tuned in a cablenews show, and all they discuss is the election this and the election that. B. Obama has won the election -- by a landslide, as Kuros, claims, or by a close majority, as I predict, same difference. The rest is formality. Time to rally behind the imminent Obama Administration and move on in life...

I feel your pain Very Happy

Elections are structured like a SciFi trilogy...exciting beginning, boring second volume and, if you're lucky, a big pay off with a bang up finish. Consider what I've endured: Nixon, Nixon, Reagan, Reagan, Bush, Bush, Bush. From personal experience, I can tell you winning is a lot more fun than losing. Seven elections with a disappointing finish makes you grow callouses on your soul.

I can appreciate that. I think Republicans felt the same way with FDR, FDR, FDR, FDR, H. Truman, JFK/LBJ, and J. Carter back in the day.

In any case, now you have had four recent elections you can be proud of, counting from J. Carter, with perhaps a fifth looming over the horizon should B. Obama plays this hand right. Looks like your side will have Congress, too. I hope to see the left's best and not its worst in the next two years...
