I'll buy the monitor for 170,000 if somebody else expresses an interest in buying the rest. |

Well, that would be very difficult... iMacs are all one unit. EVERYTHING is encased within the monitor box. |

you're still asking too much. Software and Ram upgrade aside, the basic iMac with more features sells for $1200 new. If you change your mind, I'll give you 600,000 for it. |

The basic iMac is 1,350,000.. and has NO extra features.
Please explain how the current basic iMac has more features.
The computer is just over a year old, and has been coddled like a baby. Furthermore, running CPU hogging apps such as those listed cause no delays in operation whatsoever, so processor speed is no issue at all.
900,000 is a bargain. |

Intel Core 2 Duo chip, can run Windows or Mac OSX.
20inch monitor, ambient light sensor, 250 gigabyte hard drive, 2 gig RAM, CD Burner
You say "CD Burner". The new iMacs have a superdrive and you can burn DVDs, or is that what you meant?
And Intel Core 2 Duo? The new basic models are 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. What's yours?
I don't doubt that you've taken excellent care of it and that it could run those programs with ease, but it's used............
All I'm saying is that if you're willing to come down, I'm interested. |

Mine has the exact same SUPERDRIVE. Nothing has changed.
Mine has 2.33Ghz processor. I've already mentioned I have no speed issues with heavy eapps.
Procesor speed is not a "feature' by the way.
I'd rather keep it, than let it go for 600, thanks anyways. |

Better hurry. Apple is announcing new price points next week.

It's a fine system, however, your original post seems to suggest that there was added value in the unlicensed software you would include on the hard drive.
I think most of us Mac users are a little more sophisticated than that and it leaves you vulnerable to a Spliffbomb.
Just sayin'.

^^
The 3000$ of apps refers to the actual money I paid to buy them.
I paid for:
Reason 4
NI Komplete 5
Logic Studio 8.
JamPacks 1-6
Those apps have performance issues if cracked. The JamPack library has tonal issues if unlicensed.
I bought them and they are fully licensed. |

Crescent, they are fully licensed to YOU, not the person you sell the computer to. Now one more fast one from you, and I'll call Spliff over to settle this
Let's not belabor it. You are continuing to suggest that you are providing added value from unlicensed software and buyers as well as sellers should be made aware that that is not relevant to the value of the computer. |

You, sir, deserve a patented o-mai-gawd. The software is fully licensed to the production company I started years ago. I'm sure it can be brought back to life as long as there aren't any expectations. It covers the use of 3 computers; my laptop, my iMac, and my ex-partner's iMac.
And now, for an added bonus, the buyer of the computer will also receive an offer of lifetime employment with my company as Chief Web Surfer. I will personally grant lifetime, guaranteed employment in my company for a generous salary of 75thousand electro-enjoy-o-bucks / year. Your only employment responsibility is to use the computer and the software any way you see fit. You may terminate your employment at any time.
If that still doesn't satisfy you, I will notify the software companies of a license transfer. It's completely possible, but a bit of a pain
I'm sure all those sophisticated mac owners you spoke of will already know that though.
... and please don't think I care what Quife has to say.
