I'll be finishing a contract with GEPIK on December 13, 2008 and I'm currently trying to nail down a Winter Camp job and an SMOE Spring 09 job.
I haven't signed the contract yet but I've got an offer to do a 4 week Winter Camp from 23 Dec to 24 Jan. They tell me I'll need a C4 visa for that.
I understand a C4 is a sort of short term visa, right? Does the length of it vary?
I understand that some people do a visa run to get a C4 but I've also been told that my present school can, at their discretion, help me out by requesting I be granted a C4. Is that right?
I've got an E2 now of course. It expires on 14 December 2008.
If my present school(in GEPIK) is willing to help me, should I ask them to extend my E2 or to help me get a C4 (I suspect the later)?
My desire is to do that Winter Camp, then find another short term camp to bring in some revenue during February prior to the start of the SMOE semester (or wherever Im able to get a Spring 09 job)in early March.
Assuming I get an offer from either SMOE or GEPIK for Spring 09.......I take that down to Immigration and I can do all the new E2 visa stuff with them at that time, right?
Thanks,
