I'm applying for a uni job and need to provide two letters of recommendation. I'm only in my first year of teaching. Would it be better for both reference letters to come from people here in Korea -- my employer and a coworker? Or would it be better for one to come from my current employer and the second from a previous employer in Canada? Thanks! |

To be quite honest, so few applicants actually have letters of reference that anything you can provide will put you ahead of the majority of applicants. |

Every place I worked at home the boss just said, "write it up and I'll sign it." It's the same with Korean principals. |

Oh, I know... I'll probably be writing both letters but I'm just wondering if it's better for both letters to come from people I've worked with in Korea (but from the exact same school) or if it's better to have more variety, which would mean one of the letters would come from someone in Canada. |
