| I have someone visiting me soon and he wants to know where the best place to exchange money is. I don't ever do that, so I don't know what to tell him. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

Buy the won IN KOREA. Don't buy won in his home country.
The rates at the currency exchange desks at the airport are the same as the banks in the city.
You can get a slightly better rate at the cash exchanges in the markets (about 0.5-1% better) but if you are making a special trip you will pay more in time and travel than you gain in the rate.
