The sausage thread here got me thinking about this. Can anyone recommend a good place to get some good German grub here?

There is a horribly over priced Austrian place just past Geckos. Chef Meili or something like that.

Castle Praha has great microbrew beers and they have a sausage plate. Pretty German, or at least Nordic.

If you walk West from Jonggak, toward Kyobo, turn right after the golden horse and rider statue. There is a digital camera place there called Pix Dix. This will take you near the back of the US embassy. At the T-intersection (left is the embassy), go right. Keep walking. Look for an alley/street on the right with a German sausage place on the right. It's locally famous. And pricey, but always full of people.

Just to be clear, the place near Jonggak is not Castle Praha. I don't know the name of it. I stumbled across it last semester.

interesting thread - I ride the 402 up Namsan towards HBC in the afternoons - just around the Seoul Millenium Hotel there is a restaurant that is supposed to be authentic German sausages - Uncle Cho's or something like that - anyone tried it?

didn't read the other thread so if this has been mentioned, sorry -

Uncle Cho is not bad but a little bit overpriced. But it's stiil what Koreans think it might be typical German. It's just their interpretation.

At COSCO u can by the american interpretation of german sausages. They are coming quite closer to the real one. If you buy the mixed sausage pack don't touch the green ones- they are disgusting

Do they do classes in English? The website (for Korea) is only in German and Korean.
