Could anyone recommed some software that will quickly cut an xvid encoded avi file? I'm using VirtualDub at the moment but it takes a long time to cut out a segment (VD wants to reprocess the segment and my computer only handles about 10-15fps so it takes ages...)

I'm hoping for something that can cut instantaneously! Any suggestions welcome!

i assume your cutting parts out of one clip right, like removing ads from a tv show or something along those lines.....anyways. depending on HOW youre doing it in VD, you could maybe do it faster. Just as long as the file is the same. ie. bitrate, audio bitrate, fps etc etc
