No, it's not an auction site where you have deal contracts. It's a first come first serve basis just like in newspaper classified ads.
I never could buy anything on this site since it's almost always located in Seoul and it can wait until the weekend. If something comes up today, you gotta go buy ASAP today or someone else will beat you to the punch. |

Hmm i figured that impatience is a pain on here but I don't like the fact that it was already sold to me and the guy turns around and sells it to someone else.

In Korea, vrebal contracts of sale mean absolutely nothing.
You will get gazumped if somebody else deposits cash in the sellers bank account. It is the money in the sellers account which determines the who the buyer is.
I suspect the seller you dealt with was Korean.
Happened to my wife last week. Sometimes middle-men/women handle grey or stolen goods and string you along, in the hope they can get more things to sell to all interested parties. |

Well yes, there is something you could do about it. You could buy a box of tissues to wipe away those tears. |

A lot of sellers do that--it's happened to me here twice.
More reason to take your business elsewhere. |

I had someone who wanted to buy my iPod I put up here. After a couple days back and forth answering all the questions they said they would take it. After a couple more days waiting, the person said they were going to transfer the money that day.
Another day goes by and they say they are really sorry, but they didn't get a chance to deposit, but will do so the next day.
The next day comes around and they back out of the sale. Meanwhile the 2 other people waiting to buy it buzzed off.
Moral of the story:
First person with that pays the money is the buyer. |

You're kidding right? Everyone posting to sell stuff here is a foreigner who is desperate to get rid of their stuff on short notice. If someone is standing in front of you with the money, you got to take it!
Agreeing with the guy who said if you want something, go get it NOW. |

Exactly. OP, it's obvious you've never tried to sell anything here.
First person with the money in hand or in my account gets the item. To expect anything else is pretty foolish.
Sellers should be clear about this though, in their opening posts. |

Well it does make it hard to go and get something when you don't live in Seoul like the majority of you guys.
And as for getting a box of tissues nahh not my style I don't cry over spilled milk I was just curious.. |

You don't need to go to Seoul to use an ATM and transfer money to someone's account. All you gotta do is say, "Hey, I really want it. I can transfer you the money today. If you don't get it today, then feel free to sell it to someone else." |

There are no routing numbers. Just account numbers, bank names, and customer name. That's all you need. |

I have online banking with KEB, and they have a drop down list of all the domestic banks in Korea, if I want to do a wire transfer, I just need to know the account number. There is no routing number. |
