Today I learned a new insulting word in Hangul - Doldaegari (돌대가리). The exact translation is head like a stone. I am trying to gauge how insulting it is to make sure I use it in the right way

Is it the kind of word you would you to tease friends or is it something you shout at drunk adjossi's when they elbow you for no reason? This is usually how I usually categorise Korean insults.

I also like Dakdaegari (닭대가리 ) ie. chicken head.

It's really not very bad, but I've noticed that when we (foreigners) say words that aren't that bad, such as 지랄 or 니미시비, Koreans are absolutely shocked and even embarrassed. I speak pretty good Korean and have lots of Korean friends who say some terrible words, but when I do it they often seem to think that I'm not using their language appropriately. I dunno, I guess maybe it's the same for us, though. My girlfriend says F**k that all the time when it's really not appropriate. I'm rambling...
