I searched past threads and couldn't find anything about washing electric blankets. Can I just chuck mine in the washing machine? Febrezing it isn't cutting it anymore. |

Take off the control if it is removable. Wash on the gentle cycle, spin and hang to dry. Do NOT machine dry. Do not use until it is absolutely dry. Washing MAY shorten the life span of the thermostat if it is not removable.
Hand wash is always an acceptable option but do NOT wring or you may break the wires and leads inside.
Electronics do not mind water as long as they are thoroughly dry before power is applied again.
