Just bought milk for the first time here
It was so hard choosing cos of the explanations. I bought the red one as it said A GRade Seoul Milk and it is very fatty.
Do they have a color code system here for low fat, etc (like they do in the UK?)
Thanks! |

the red bottle that I got was the only one with English writing and trying to explain low fat with hand gestures was pretty difficult so I gave up! lol
I'm in Jeongja and haven't seen any 7-11's only overpriced Familymarts! |

I only drink pure grain alcohol distilled from rain water, Monger.
지방 is the word for fat. You can check fat content on all your products if you find that symbol.
저지방로우 is what I drink. It has 1.5 g/fat per 100ml. Should be able to get it in the Family Mart, but if not, find a HomePlus, Lotte, or other big department store grocery section. |

Just avoiding the fluoride my man.
Lactose free is available in the department stores, and also in the larger grocers. The ones I've seen have added calcium, and it says Lactose in English.
It's worth tracking down the nearest department store if you're looking for food like this. Chances are you'd find lots more there that you're into, unless you're digging the choco-pies, unknown meat products, ramyon, and dried fish.
Are you digging the ramyon?
That's 500 kcals per slop bucket, my little fatties. And a week's worth of sodium and delicious msg. Tastes great with soju and starcraft. |

I buy the Denmark Milk. You can get it at many superstores. I think the blue label is lower fat than the Classic maroon label.
It has no after taste, and is just like the milk back in NA. That said, there are many milks available that are Low Fat, and most will say so in English. |

I love Seoul Milk, it's so creamy, I don't care if it's fat!
But sometimes when I'm trying to be careful with my diet I buy ESL Low-fat milk. |

| Down our way, the low-fat milk (semi-skimmed type stuff) is either in a white, 4-pint container with a light-blue cap or, you can buy a carton (litre sized I'd say), which is in a completely blue carton. |
