This is a good thing. People think space exploration is a waste of money. People thought giving Columbus money was a waste too. We can't put all our eggs in this basket, and while I won't be going to any other planets, I hope some of my future generations will.

Not to mention the technology that comes out of NASA.

I'm glad to see the space program continue to move forward. I read somewhere that the shuttle program is suppose to be phased out in the next few years. I've never heard what will replace it.
