I've been telling Koreans this for years, and they don't like hearing it... after 60 years, the only thing Kim Jeong Il's family will have accomplished is to give half of Korea to China.

That's exactly where things are headed. I don't see China attacking South Korea unless SK attacks China for taking the North.

If China attacked SK it would be WW IV. Where do they get these ideas from?

I've wondered for a long time why Korea is simply not a part of China, because it was for millions of years. China is getting powerful enough to do whatever it wants, which includes doing nothing less than ultimately destroying the world in the end. If not with it's awful pollution, then with a new imperial conquest.

MacArthur should have been allowed to drop the bomb in China.

Oh well, there's still time.

Wasn't it the Americans that thought China wouldn't get involved in the Korean War? As someone mentioned in another thread, Westerners are very poor at predicting what Asian countries will do, especially China.

For every American thinker that thinks China will take over NK, there are equally the same number of Chinese thinkers that think they won't. So who knows..

I mean...who *wants* North Korea? That's the question. On the one hand, it's a land grab for china...but a land grab with 30 million starving people on it?

I think China has enough shit on its plate without worrying about that dysfunctional little country.

WW III was the Cold War, so says Michael Ledeen. I tend to agree.
