I tried the one in Hongdae, and it is really, really good. It's fairly popular, so I wasn't surprised when a shop around the corner called "Rottipapa" or "Papa Rotti" that serves the exact same kind of thing opened up.
Are the two related? Or is it just another example of a K-biz poaching on another? |

man, i know, we are all addicted to em here. they're like crack.
i love the way they have a claim for 'well being' on their poster too. (apparently because it's made with butter and not margarine.) so they're good for you. |

When I walked by the store a few weeks ago, I first thought it was Caribbean-style roti...then came the big let-down.
I would kill for some of THAT roti right now! |

I googled up this thing.
Not giving me much, generally defined as a southasian bread (wow).
Can anyone tell me if it's sweet?
Also, anyone know one in Daegu?
God I love food I'm such a fattie. |

yeah, one just opened on my town, and whlie it was being built, there was just a sign. I spent a couple of days regaling my wife with how good they were and how I used to eat a giant roti every day from a shop by Christie Pits in Toronto back in the day. |

Although this chain is from Malaysia, this is nothing like rotis I've had there or India. They're good, but I could really go for a roti paratha. |

you'll find about 4 or 5 in downtown (Daegu).
I know there is one near Coffee Bean and there is one down the road from Academy cinema...and there's one in the Lotte Building with the CGV cinema inside. |
