I have a Brazlian friend and he's looking into possibly teaching at a hagwon for Portugese or Spanish. I have heard maybe there is something like that in Seoul. Does anybody here have anymore information? Thanks in advance. |

There are a few Spanish Hogwons in Seoul, but they generally only hire teachers with a degree in teaching Spanish as a second language. Also the pay is much lower than teaching ESL, from what I have heard not even half of what ESL teachers make, and without extras like housing flights etc. Also brazilians don't qualify for an E-2 as Spanish teachers. |

Yeah, I guess that takes teaching out of the equation. Thanks. |

When i was studying Korean at Sogang I knew a Spaniard and Mexican guy teaching Spanish part time at a hagwon in Gangnam.....I don`t think you can work on a student visa so I presume it was money under the desk type of thing
Worknplay sometimes advertise for Portuguese speakers. Infact just had a quick look now and there`s something...not a hagwon I resume but 80,000 won an hour!!
