Hi, is it legal to carry pepper spray in Korea? And if so, where can I buy it? I ask this cos Koreans can be very belligerent and in the past few weeks, rabid Korean "dogs" have tried to fight me for no reason. I hate them and really need to protect myself without having to come to blows. They are the most uncivillised of savages.

YES,

Order it online.

The Japanese ones are the best in terms of potential facial reconstruction and sheer pain.

Somebody sprayed a stream of that in a bar back home once. It wasn't a small bar, and they probably didn't squirt much, because nobody noticed. As it evaporated into the air, it cleared-out the ENTIRE bar for 10 minutes.

That stuff is nasty in an enclosed space!

I remember seeing the spray sold in Itaewon a few years ago. Haven't seen it there since.

Spray them in a decisive manner and generously!!

I've ordered tons of pepper sprays online for my female friends
Tried to warn people in here about the HUGE male surplus in Korea and social unrest.

Protect yourself and your friends, spray the crap out them.

Make it yourself, just crush loads of hot peppers (seeds too) and boil them up until the water gets really low (start with nearly a full pan and as many crushed hot peppers you can find) sieve the water out and put in a spray bottle!!

Try spaying yourself in the face to see if it works Shocked Shocked

The ajossis are looking for a fight? I haven't had any problems here, and quite frankly, they don't look very tough. Where are you encountering these guys?

Yesterday I was at a restrant eating with a friend. After we were done, I wanted to pay with a credit card. The woman was gruff and rude as she told me to sign. I commented on it to her and asked why she had to be so rude. She gave me an attitude and started muttering something.
I asked her what her problem was.
Some office worker guy in his mid 30's got up and walked up to me. He was very polite and said in a calm tone that the ajooma had not done anything wrong to me. Since he was nice about it, I was nice back and said "Oh ok, I understand."
I thought that would be the end of that and since I was nice to him I thought he would go away. But at that point, he suddenly changed his attitude. He gave me a dirty look and started talking crap.
I was exasperated at this and so I got pissed and wagged my finger at him. Suddenly he rushed at me and his friend had to restrain him. But he got himself free and threw himself at me and shoved me.
At this point his friend as well as the restrant ajoshi restrained him. His friend turned out to be Korean American. I am also Korean American.
This is the third time, some idiot Korean guy has physically assaulted me for no reason whatsover.
What got me the most was the way in which he looked and talked to me. He was very arrogant and laughing at me. Very condescending. I am Korean American and speak Korean. I am trying to be reasonable with people in this country, but they are rude, belligerent, and worst of all act very arrogant when they get into a fight situation. Like they hold me in contempt or somehting. That is the worst part. Why are they so nasty? I just dont understand it.

If I could just pepper spray some turd who rushes me, it would make things a whole lot simpler and nip things at the bud. They are like mad rabid dogs.
Can I import it on ebay from the states?
