A kickabout on Wednesday evenings usually 8-10 pm in centralish seoul on a lovely floodlit astroturf in Gwanmun sports complex Gwacheon for a cost of 6,000 won per player.

http://maps.naver.com/?x=310590&y=536817&title=경기도

For the purpose of improving fitness and making Wednesday less of a shit day. Any ability, sex, sexuality welcome.

As long as you follow the game rules of etiquette:

1. Don't be later than me.
2. Don't PULL OUT within 24 hrs of the game and without ringing me. 3 strikes and you are out policy for those wankers that keep cancelling on me last minute.
3. Don't wear a Man United top or claim to have a been a lifelong fan.
4. He who kicks the ball out of the pitch, fetches the ball.
5. Subs on each goal; subs take keeper's position, and 1 player rotates off (alphabetically).

5 a side rules:
1. Keeper can't come out of the area.
2. You can't score in the area unless tis with thy head, but you can play the ball out of the area.

DIRECTIONS

By Bus:
From Sadang exit 4. go to the back of the exit and take the (9, 9-3, 777, 4425, 540, 11-5, 11-1 or 11-2) to Gwacheon. You'll pass by the pitch on your left. Get out at the big church with the bell tower. Cross the road go left and you're there.

By Subway:
Line 4 southbound or Line 2 to Sadang station where you can get a bus or 3,000 won cab directly to the pitch or line 4 all the way to Gwacheon station and follow the map.

8-10pm? Dammit, we work until 9pm. Is there any at the weekends you know about?

And the rule about man united made us laugh. Im asking about 5 a side on behalf of my bf who is a lifelong united supporter, but we are from Manchester so surely that rule cant apply ;p

Wondang is north east of the city. We play on Thursday and will be starting on Tuesday soon as well.

It's about 20 minutes from Sinchon.

So, there seemed to be a few games on the go. Is that still the case?

I'm probably going to be in Korea near the end of November and will be desperate for a game. Only death or kidnapping will make me cancel. I organised a twice weekly match for two years and can fully appreciate the effort required.

Heh,

guess you didn't hear the story behind that. We booked dirt but a Korean team we often play with invited us to join them on a giant grass pitch. We said we couldn't because we had a league game. They had the pitch booked but when they got there they couldn't get on. The korean contact called me that morning and cancelled our grass pitch in Suwon.

I called the loco contact and told him to come to bundang which is 30 minutes closer to Ilsan than suwon. but he refused. So if you want t obitch about not playing blame your own. it would have been 30 min from the original pitch and would have been a shorter ride back if you would have chanced it.

anyway morning kick offs suck like the last time we went up to ilsan at like 9 am to play on the crappy dirt.

Anyway I don't run the wednesday night footie, just posting the info that is up on the facebook group that alex started and some other guy runs now.

By the way I Manage Seoul Storm now. oh and the loco 5 aside tourney was a lot of fun. Well done.
