I was all set to spend two weeks in Southeast Asia early next month until the won tanked. Now that plan has been shelved until the rate improves.
Anyone else care to share their experiences? |

I wanted to go meet my sister in Tokyo for a long weekend in November, but that's not going to happen. |

This was going to be my year of travel in Asia, or so I thought before. I might make some short trips around, but nothing more now. |

Instead of paying to go to Thailand and Hong Kong in January, I think I'll re-sign with my PS and go there for my two week home leave in February. |

I just got myself a ticket to Thailand for $495 with some US funds through Cathay Pacific's Korean site. It seems pretty reasonable for a round trip. Of course, I can stay for free in Bangkok. There are some advantages to having a Thai wife. |

I still plan on going South this Winter too where coconut palms grow under warm sunny balmy tropical Winter days. |
