| does anyone know where the daegu immi office is located? Need to stop in for a visit (without my job knowing, hence not asking a koworker)... thanks for any help... |

buggery...I've been there on the subway, but I can't remember the name of the stop...
I think it's Bangchon or Dongchon, on the red-line to Ansim. Whichever one is closer, I think.
Immi is a 5 min walk from there. You walk down to the main road, cross it and walk left along the road.
If you're not taking the subway, it's near the airport (I saw it my last time) and the military air-base.

i was just there today 
it is right by daegu airport....kind of a reddish brown 2 story building....maybe a block or three past the airport hotel on that same side of the road. |

| thanx a lot... i'm gonna try to scooter down there tomorrow morn to file for a visa extension... i can find the airport, so hopefully i'll be able to find the immi office as well... |

Don't go near the airport. Its in the same general vicinity, but not that close to the airport.
. To go to Immigration catch the subway (line 1) and get of at Dongchon. It is a three-five minute walk from the subway stop to Immigration. If you emerge from the subway (exit #1) and turn east, you will see a big road one block away. Walk to the big road and cross the street. Turn left. Immigration will be the reddish-brown institutional building you come to almost immediately on your right hand side. |
