Dumb Question - Visa Cancelled?

This is probably me being neurotic - I'm so paranoid that SOMETHING is going to happen to make it difficult for me to get another e-2. And I have a CBC question...

I was a the Toronto Consulate today getting my CBC apostilled. Actually they apostilled a notarized copy (they said it HAD to be a notarized copy) and apostilled a notarized copy of my degree. Has anyone here sent a notarized copy of the CBC instead of the original? I thought it had to be the original, but I'm happier sending a copy, obviously, if it'll be accepted.

My other question is related to the visa application form. Specifically the question as to whether you've ever had or canceled a visa. Until I read that I would've said "no" but technically I left two weeks before my visa expired (they needed me out of the apartment!), so does that mean it was canceled?

I don't want to say "yes" in case that makes it harder to be approved for a new one (or does it not matter) And I have a friend who left 2 months early, and so canceled their visa at the airport. Will they have trouble getting a new one?

I don't want to say "no" in case they decide that it was canceled and so reject me for lying or something dumb like that.

Thanks in advance for the answers!

If you left early your status of sojourn (stay) may have been canceled 2 weeks early but your VISA (original entry) was not.

Answer NO, you have never had a canceled visa.

Yes, you can send an apostilled copy instead of the originals.

Perfect! Thanks ttompatz, somehow I knew you'd be the one answering!

Good, now I only have to worry about things my over-active imagination hasn't thought of. Smile
