Hi there! I'm planning on moving to Korea in the coming months and am currently getting my documents together. While I was speaking to a recruiter, an interesting scenario came up that I'm not sure how to tackle:

I'm a British citizen but live in New Zealand. I don't have New Zealand citizenship though, I'm only a permanent resident here. If I want to get my Korean visa, do I have to return to the UK to do it or can I obtain it from New Zealand?

This has happened to other people before. DO NOT EXPECT LOGIC. You think they will take the Kiwi CRC but they will ask for the British one instead.

My advice is get both if you can. And cross your finger hopping that you get an understanding immi official.
