You can stop starving yourselves to death. The Breatharian website reports:
High levels of 5th dimentional light/love energies beamed from the lightship "PHOENIX" "Soltec" Commander, began to be felt in the area of Phoenix, AZ at 8:00 am, October 13, 2008
This Federation Of Light spacescraft (Lightship) will remain in our environment until the levels of negative energies on the planet have subsided to certain threshold levels before any sustained physical appearances can be permitted.
Don't be dismayed, keep your eyes and cameras on the skies. (Certain forces are working overtime to prevent this event for happening.) ........but, know in your heart of hearts that "The Light will prevail".
IT IS NOW VERY, VERY, VERY IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE WHO CAN, START USING THE "FIVE MAGIC WORDS" (5D) MEDITATION SYSTEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
(READ THE Q & A PAGE FIRST)
YOUR LIFE MIGHT DEPEND ON IT
Just thought you'd like to know. Also, I figured the Christians, Muslims, and Buddhists could use a break from the ridicule. |

Are there really no breatharians on this site? It seems like we have every other type of freak. |

I got the impression that the concept of being a breatharian was nothing but a joke since anyone practicing would likely die within a few days. |

Indeed. But I'm truly surprised we don't have a scientologist. Man, that would be fun. |

Yes, this site could stand to use a Scientologist and a Breatharian. At least until the Breatharian dies.

Not if they cheat, which they do. Actually, the same place I read this announcement, there were a few funny anecdotes about Breatharians.
-when sceptic James Randi was investigating them, he reported they would go on fast food runs when they thought no one was looking.
-also, he reported they still needed to use washrooms. |

There are a lot of bogey yogis, but I think that yogic breath control - to a degree practically impossible in this age - did enable ancient mystics to live for hundreds - if not thousands - of years.
In this article, it's noted that tortoises - which can live for up to 300 years - only take 4 breaths per minute.
Reportedly, some yogis could maintain their body and soul (and probably not much else) together for thousands of years by taking just one breath every several days ...
http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Autobiography_of_a_Yogi/Chapter_26
Anyway, this article updates different theories of exactly when - in the next few years - the world will end ...

Ah, there's the crazy stuff!
Although it doesn't look like any of those are exactly Breatharian, telling people to give up eating permanently and relying on the air for sustenance. |

And Rteacher does believe space aliens intervened in human evolution. So he's both a breatharian and a scientologist all in one! Yeah! Ready made. |

Aww man, all the way to Arizona?
Hehehe.
I'm a bit of a hippie, but I'm pretty sure that respiration requires oxygen, water, and food energy. Yes?
Just for your information, there are a number of practices that revere breath control, and many sources agree that it's important for promoting good health, but I don't think outlandish urban legends will help your case. |

"Mindmetoo's" remark gives the impression that the article on (the late) James Randi is presented by some nondescript bozos lacking academic credentials.
Here's from the "About Us" link:

The Skeptical Investigations website is organized by the Association for Skeptical Investigation, the purpose of which is to promote genuine skepticism, the spirit of enquiry and doubt, within science.
