Alright, since this is still under investigation, I will not say what bank it is,
but here is the story:
I opened an investment account at one of the korean banks,
did not use it for one month (was waiting for the prices to get cheap Laughing )

Today I tried to setup the computer for online trading, but ended up with the message: no such customer account.

I called customer service and gave my details. They tried to verify but there was no trail of my account. They even called the branch that I've opened an account at.

It is a good thing I retained a copy of a contract, when I had initially signed up.
I already sent them the copy of the contract and a letter of complaint.

Could I sue the bank for breach of contract or any other deal?

You're from the Litigious states of America huh?

Unless you had money in the account and it mysteriously disappeared at the same time there is nothing you can do except open another one up.

You're not in Kansas any more there Toto.

I had a Korean interpreter with me when I opened my account. I was told that if I did not activate the account within three days on the internet, it would automatically close. I don't know if this is the problem you are having or not.

Ah bank problems.

When I remitted money, I had some mysteriously dissappear before it reached my bank in my home country. Interestingly, that bank issued me a statement saying that they didn't remove any funds. What's up with my Korean bank?

I talked with some Koreans and they said something similar happened. However, their receiving banks (in a foreign country, not Korea) could charge fees.

I only know of a few banks that treat me fairly and like a human being.
