This is not surprising as recruiters generally finish their job with you once the agreement has been signed. They are only headhunters.

What you need is a photocopy their business registration license and one other document (I can never remember what it is, as it is in Korean, and never really read it) You will also need to fill out an application form which you can get at immigration or from their website. You will need 10,000 for the application, and if you are not from the US or England, you might want to bring extra money to get a re-entry visa. You will need your passport, medical check and passport sized pictures (photobooth pics are acceptable) You will have to leave your passport there for a week or so. I suggest to my teachers to use the delivery service so that you don't have to pick it up. Some immigration offices may not offer the service though.

You don't need the criminal check. Your school has already provided it to immigration. You do need the health check, which should be done be a hospital in Korea. There is no reason for your school to have this. They don't need it.
