|
|
ok Monday I move from Seoul to Jeonju to start my new job so I was wondering, whats the best way to get from Seoul to Jeonju?
1) take a bus from (which terminal in Seoul?) direct to Jeonju
2) take the KTX to Iksan and then do a bus/train/cab to Jeonju
3) a train that runs direct from Seoul to Jeonju (does it exist?)
any help will be greatly appreciated with a simulated text thank you sent directly to these message boards. |

A direct bus runs from the express bus terminal every 10 min (as well as the nambu and sangbong ones but not as often)
costs 11 - 16k, and it takes 2:50 from all 3.
dosent seem to be any direct trains, so bus is probaly your cheapest and easiest route

you can take a bus from express bus term. you get the ticket from the line ups near the coffee bean and tea leaf in the shinsegae section (not the older bus terminal)
you can buy standard bus or deluxe bus tickets. the deluxe bus costs like 16,000 won and standard is about 10,000 i think... deluxe has much bigger comfy seats. the ride takes about 2 hours and 30 min.
tell your taxi driver "guseok terminal" in korean because most of them don't know what express bus terminal means. |

I've taken the train to Jeonju several times. I've ridden a bus too, and it's a faster trip on the bus. |

Pretty sure it is go-soek, but I'm sure the taxi driver would put 1 and 1 together...actually on second thought.[/b] |
