Hey everyone,

I'm planning to move to Seoul in December. I'm deciding between two contracts, and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on the gu that these places are located. One is in Yongsan-gu and one is in Yangcheon-gu. I have never been to Seoul, so I know only what wikipedia tells me. Advice?

Thanks in advance!

Fairly similar areas. You are comparing apples with apples.

It is not like like there is any great distinction in terms of geography between the two.

A 1st year person would probably prefer Yongsan (closeness to Itaewon, Jongno and similar areas)

But someone who has been around a while (and doesn't care to go there every there every weekend would more like Yangchun-gu (Mokdong and nearby areas).
