Yeah, nerd alert. I know. But honestly, I was playing the original Fallout game before I left to come here, and as I've been wandering around the different districts of Seoul, I find myself going into random shops, looking for things that might make my life more enjoyable. Almost every shop I go into feels like I've found yet another thing that can make the experience a little better. And it's like finding random things at random places.
To me, it's a lot like the game where you practically do the same thing, wandering the unknown lands looking for things, and every now and then you hit the jackpot and find a store (like the Itaewon international markets) and you jump for joy. But most of the time, everyone is selling mass items, like kimche and other unusable items for the "adventure".
Fortunately, no 20 foot long radioactive scorpions have attacked me during my journeys (like the game), but I haven't exhausted the number of subway stops on the subway system yet. So I guess anything can happen. |

I'd just be happy if I could find a bottle of Nuca-cola (or diet Dr Pepper would do nicely, too). |

Adjummas are kind of like the ghouls you meet throughout the game.

Unfortunately, those who have never played it will ever understand how similar the experience is. The big difference I'm noticing is that in Fallout there are no hills. Don't remember being this tired every day after walking around in the game world. |
